Contenu:L'auteur fait référence à la première partie sous l'appellation Traictié de la Passion. En fait, il s'agit d'un florilège beaucoup plus vaste destiné à soutenir la bonne pratique de la religion chrétienne, le labeur de l'homme dans la vigne du Seigneur, pour paraphraser notre auteur. On y trouve donc non seulement la Passion du Christ mais également sa vie, sa mort et sa résurrection, un condensé des évangiles en quelque sorte. Il y est question de la Trinité, de la Vierge, de même que d'une pléthore d'autres notions jugées essentielles à la bonne pratique de la religion. — En ce qui concerne la seconde partie, « It is largely a compendium of information and moral teachings about hell that focuses on five topics: the appearance of the Antichrist, the fifteen signs before the Last Judgment, the Last Judgement proper, the torments of hell, and the bliss of heaven. […] Among the various topics addressed are punishments for cardinal sins, torments for specific groups of damned souls, and detailed descriptions of Lucifer and the devils, who administer the divine judgment. » (Eichberger 1992: ??)

Deo gratias. Plaise a ceulx qui verront ce livre de prier pour celuy qui a labouré en le composer.
