    Contenu:Traité sur l'amour qui développe, à la façon d'Ovide, son sujet sur trois volets: comment conquérir l'amour, comment l'entretenir et comment s'en guérir. Toutefois, André est nourri d'ambitions différentes; loin de présenter une vision décadente de l'amour, il cherche en fait à rassembler et organiser tous les avis possibles sur l'amour et les amoureux en allant puiser à diverses sources: antiques (Horace, Sénèque, Cicéron, etc.), chrétiennes (la Bible) et contemporaines (Chrétien de Troyes, l'école de Chartres, etc.).
