Joseph Barrois

En 1849, Joseph Barrois (1785-1855) revend sa collection à Lord Ashburnham, collection en grande partie formée de manuscrits volés dans des bibliothèques d'Europe. Plusieurs de ces manuscrits seront rachetés par la Bibliothèque nationale de France en 1888.
